Spring is here, time for haircuts, wedges and leather jackets.

So this Saturday, we had to trek up to the land of spray tans and white shoes for my  haircut. I was trying to look inconspicuous, so I opted for a Eloquii Jungle cat fit and flair dress I picked up at Marshall's.

The natives did not seem to notice (Yay) but my neighbors are starting to wonder what's up with us taking pictures outside.

This dress feels amazing and has some stretch, which is why I sized down and am wearing a 14.
We were also about to go to my favorite place on earth, the liquor store.

This is my pleased face, and my awesome glasses from Domino Dollhouse
They make me feel like something out of a John Water's movie.

Another thing that makes me feel kick ass is this leather jacket from forever 21, I was so sad that the one I wore during my teens did not fit me any more, not fitting being an understatement, cannot get my arms in.

So I was super excited when I got this one on sale, they run very small (so size up) mine does not zip past my ribs, but who cares it looks cool, who needs to zip a jacket anyway?
I added some pins and voila!
My wedges are very comfortable and help me keep my balance, even with bottles of booze in each hand, they are from Ugg believe it or not, hate the boots, love these wedges.

And finally my wonderful xmas gift from my hubby, my DKNY purse, you can seriously put a lot in this purse, it's simple and elegant and I love it.
So both trips to suburbia and SAQ were good, so was the bottle of port me and our host polished off.
A great way to start the season, friends, great company, kobe beef steaks on the BBQ and a new haircut.

Life is sweet, especially when you can leave suburbia and  return to the noise and excitement of the city.

A big thank to Mathieu from Meches Rebelle for my awesome haircut.

First Outfit of the day, oh rainy day!

So Saturday morning we decide to go to an   estate sale and take pictures for my first OOTD, the sun is out I excitedly get dresses and Eric goes outside to prepare. RAIN!
Sooo, I trow on my vintage raincoat and we go out of the balcony to take pictures out of the rain.

I love this coat because it's classy and kinda see though, so a little naughty. I bought it at an estate sale, the dead person we got it from had some great taste.
The Bag is Simon Chang from a couple of years ago, this bag was a crazy splurge for me and I do not wear it as much as I should.
The dress from Bea and dot ''Oslo and behold'', I adore it! bought from a clothing swap group but originally from modcloth . I love the way this dress fits on the waist and hides the tummy, it's also able to accommodate my 42 G chest! (Please excuse the gardening stuff to the right and take notice of my wardrobe assistant Pixie standing by.)

And Lastly my leopard shoes (who says you cannot mix leopard and tiger? Fuck em') are from Stuart Weitzman.
What did I end up getting at the Estate sale? A blender, men's pair of vintage German shoes and a verbal attack from the frustrated Estate manager, Geez missy have a cocktail....Oh that's right you don't have a blender.

The begining

This is me a year ago shot by Atlanta photographer Bri McDaniel for our engagement shoot.
I think I look okay, I hate having my picture taken, I always end up disappointed.
Like I look in the mirror and think I look kinda cute and then see the pictures and think, ''F*ck I look old and fat'' and ''what the hell am I doing with Pink hair at 40''.

The thing is I love high fashion, like really haute couture, but I like to punk it up a little.
So I decided, 1 month shy of my  45 birthday to start a blog about fashion and what I wear.
People are always telling me ''your so stylish, I wish I could be so daring'' secret is 99% of the time, I'm really uncomfortable in public, but I love to dress up, so I hold my head high and own that bitch.
Then they tell me I can't afford to dress haute couture and I say ''Bullocks'' to that.
So hopefully we can all learn something, and be the best we  have ever been.
